Dermaplaning Blade Remover
Dermaplaning blade remover, designed for blade removal. After completing a dermaplaning skin exfoliation treatment remove the blade from the #3 stainless steel handle. However, do not try to remove the blade with any other object.
Place the blade into blade remover. Pull the handle out of the remover. The blade will slide out easily.
Additionally, sanitizing the handle is important. Put the handle in a hospital-grade solution for at least 10 minutes for disinfecting and sterilization.
Safe Sanitation | Handling
The safe handling of blades before, during, and after treatments is extremely important. Used blades need to be disposed of safely.
Poor sanitation of instruments could result in a poor health environment or the spread of disease. Estheticians need to discuss their procedures with clients. Clients are confident when procedures are explained thoroughly.
The proper review as well as to have clients complete consultation and medical forms before the dermaplaning treatment determines the outcome.
Pre-treatment skin analysis
Explaining the treatment provides the client and beauty therapists with all the facts to determine if a dermaplaning procedure is the right course of treatment.
Importantly, a consultation allows both parties to ask questions so the client and beauty therapists to feel confident about the outcome of the treatment.
It is also important to know the differences between each type of blade (#10R, #10, and #14).
